BOOTCAMP and YOGA CLASSES
Join one of Laurie's FUN, and challenging Bootcamp classes... or
try a relaxing Yoga class, taught poolside with the soothing sounds of a waterfall overlooking the beautiful mountains.
What is Bootcamp?
Bootcamp is a 1 hour class. We will warm up with light running in place, jumping jacks, etc. then move on to the legs with lunges, squats, and other fun tricks that work wonders. For a dynamite arm workout, Laurie uses park benches, chairs, or whatever is close by to do dips, and pushups. No worries, she doesn't neglect the abs, so bring a yoga mat and get the best 20 minute abdominal workout you've ever had. All you need is water, a yoga mat or a towel and fingerless gloves if you prefer. No experience needed. All ages and fitness levels welcome. Options are shown for all exercises.
YOGA: Yoga classes are also 1 hour. Laurie teaches Ashtanga style yoga, using basic sun salutations at a little faster pace than a standard yoga class. She mixes it up at the end with a little pilates to work on the core.
PILATES: Pilates mat classes are an effective way to strengthen the CORE. These classes are offered as a group and as private sessions.
All classes are offered on a weekly basis. Bootcamp classes can be held at almost ANY location, so if you have an idea for a new class, let her know. Class minimum is 5 people for any class.
Laurie is certified in group fitness instruction and yoga with ACE (American Council of Exercise).
RATES:
* 12 class Blocks. Note that a new session begins after 12 consecutive classes regardless if you have attended EVERY class. Makeup classes are offered for your convenience. = $120
* 3 days per week for 1 month= $120
* Drop-in rate: $15 per class
